PUR foaming – and much more
As a system supplier of ready-to-install moulded foam parts made of polyurethane, Pi-Concept supplies renowned customers throughout Europe from its base in Amberg. Thanks to decades of industry experience, we have extensive development and manufacturing expertise.
Our foaming plant produces PUR moulded parts with a wide range of properties, including coloured parts on request, with sealed, painted or coated surfaces. We add further possibilities to our moulded foam parts by incorporating sensors or mechanical components made of wood, plastic or metal.
Leather, fabric and imitation leather are processed in Pi-Concept’s in-house sewing workshop; we also weld PU-coated materials using ultrasound and combine them with plastic parts. We cover handles with leather professionally, using precise handcrafting techniques.

Company location in Amberg
The owner-managed Pi-Concept GmbH is based in Amberg/Upper Palatinate – not far from the BAB 6 motorway and around 55 km from Nuremberg and Regensburg respectively.
Our company premises in the AM Süd industrial park offer us approx. 1,100 m² of production space and 500 m² of office space, as well as more than 1,000 storage spaces for our well-coordinated logistics.
Around 45 qualified employees work here on the design, development and manufacture of a wide variety of high-quality products – with a constant focus on the satisfaction and success of our clients.

At Pi-Concept, we take responsibility – for our products, our processes and the environment. We therefore use energy and raw materials as efficiently as possible. And we develop solutions that conserve resources and are durable. A high degree of technical creativity and a constant willingness to innovate are the driving forces behind our sustainable actions.
Continuous optimisation
For many years now, we have been purchasing upholstery fabrics that comply with the Oeko-Tex standard. In addition to CFC-free blowing agents, we use solvent-free paints and additives wherever possible and appropriate in view of product requirements. And we want to keep getting better: through optimised processes, energy-saving machines and systems, the use of green electricity and the use of single-type materials that are easier to recycle.
